The Journey is More important than that destination

We are all on individual journeys, mine is different that yours, yours is different than everyone else's. There are over 7 Billion people on this planet which means there are over 7 Billion different journeys.

How are you on yours, are you doing what you are wanting to do, or are you following a path that someone else placed for you?

We all have those people in our lives that are looking out for our best interests, but do they really know what our personal interests are? Probably Not.

You have a purpose deep inside you that is fighting to get out and sometimes it will be dormant and never come into people's lives. I hope that you see this as a wake up call.

Be in control of your life.

Look deep down and find that purpose that you are longing to do, find that thing that excites you and drives you to go after it, and then go after it, yes it is that simple.

What do I mean though about enjoy the journey not the destination?

Like I said we are all on personal journeys and so much of it we are trying to get somewhere, we have set goals for ourselves and are so focused on going after them, that we forget to enjoy the process that is getting us there.

Sometimes we fall or fail at something and have to pick ourselves up, to learn a lesson and move forward with your life. This can sometimes drive us to stop going after that goal or following our passion.

If you fail it doesn't mean your are on the wrong journey it just means that you need to learn something along the way.

Let's say you were planning on driving across the country, and you have to stop for gas multiple times to get there, you wouldn't think well this car keeps failing to get me to my destination. You would just fill up and keep going along the journey.

That is what lessons or bumps in our journey are, they are times that we get to stop, refill and then keep pushing forward to the destination.

So don't be so focused on the end that you are forgetting to enjoy the scenery along the road.
